Qualifications:
Must have at least 60 college credits
Must like being with children.
Must be able to work well collaboratively with children and other adults.
Must be patient and fully committed to helping children succeed.
Must be able to work Saturdays as necessary from 9:00am-12:30pm.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse population of students
Tutoring and/or teaching experience is preferred

Duties/Responsibilities
Facilitate small group tutoring sessions on a weekly basis to children grades 3-12 in Mathematics and Language Arts Literacy for 3 and ½ hours.
Update student information on the YES website to maintain consistent communication with parents, schools, and students. Will include uploading pertinent files (homework, progress reports, memos) and sending and responding to messages from involved parties regarding the tutoring sessions.
Attend and participate in YES Institute orientations, training sessions, and staff meetings.
Complete individualized plans, progress reports, and homework assignments
Maintain consistent contact with students, parents, and teachers.
Conduct parent meetings to discuss progress.
Provide each child with individualized instruction.
Maintain updated and accurate records of attendance, assignments, communication, and progress.
